Urban Artist Competition - Huddersfield

On Sunday 11th August 2024 I will participate in the first Urban Artist Competition in Huddersfield, organised by Huddersfield BID. I and 19 other competitors will be in St George’s Square or King Street/New Street from 10:00 am and will have until late afternoon to complete our artwork. We are competing for a £500 prize and the winner will be decided by public vote, using the organisation’s social media sites or app. The artwork will later be auctioned off, with the proceeds going to Kirkwood Hospice. A cause close to my heart as they looked after my mum so well in her final days.

In addition to the main competition, there’s a special area for children to join in and win prizes for their artistic creations.
